Merry Christmas everyone. Here is a picture of the Christmas tree at Union Square in San Francisco. We met up with some of our friends from Australia the first weekend in December for dinner in SF.

Can't wait to see everyone.
We leave on Friday for the east coast.

Fall Update

Jonathan and I are doing well. Our last visitors were his parents the weekend of his birthday. We went to the Golden Gate, Muir Woods, Sonoma Valley, Napa Valley, and Lake Tahoe. We are staying here for Thanksgiving but will head towards the east coast on Friday, Dec. 21st. We fly into Atlanta that night and drive up to Greenville. We'll be in Greenville until Dec. 26th, then head to Mississippi. We'll stay in Mississippi until the 30th, and we'll head to Atlanta. We fly back on the 31st. Right now, we don't have any commitments for visitors next year. I think a couple of my girlfriends will be here, but any of you are more than welcome anytime.

We miss you all and hope to see everyone over Christmas or sooner!!

Yosemite National Park

This past weekend my parents came to visit. Friday, we went to Yosemite National Park. It was incredible. We saw Half Dome, El Capitan, Bridalveil Falls, and the giant Redwood trees. The picture above shows Half Dome and us next to some of the fallen trees in the forest. If you click on it, you can get a better idea of how big the trees are. Saturday, we went to Lake Tahoe and Renwood Winery, where we are members of the wine club. Today, we drove around and saw other parts of Sacramento. We are really enjoying all the stuff we are close to out here. We look forward to Jonathan's parents visit next month on Jonathan's birthday. Love, Kim

Day Trip to Lake Tahoe

Yesterday, Jonathan and I drove up to Lake Tahoe for the day. We were in the South Shore area. We had lunch on the water and drove around the area. People were on boats, jetskis, pontoons, etc. There were different hotels, shops, and casinos once you crossed the Nevada/California line. We had a great time and hope to go back before skiing begins. On our way back, we went to two wineries in Amador County. The first, Renwood, had some great reds, especially zinfandels. The second winery, Karmere, had a wide variety, including an Almond Sparkling Wine. Very tasty.

Welcome to our Blog

Can you believe we drove this all the way from Atlanta? Jonathan and I have been here for 17 days now. We will start posting pictures from our different activities. Right now, not much going on. I have my second interview with G3 Enterprises tomorrow. I also have an interview next Monday. Jonathan and I might drive to Lake Tahoe this weekend. It's about 90 miles from here. Our guest rooms are ready, so feel free to come out at any time. I hope you enjoy looking at our pictures from the drive across the country. We tried to take pictures as we entered states neither of us had been in before. Our only sightseeing stop on the trip was at the Grand Canyon. It's something everyone should see. It's absolutely breathtaking.

We miss y'all.

Kim
